COUPAR Design joined David Whiteside, Owner’s Representative of Whiteside Management, to remodel and reimagine a  1,096-square-foot Edwardian apartment in Pacific Heights. The client, a bibliophile, dreamed of a verdant library layered with books and botanical imagery. Functionally, the interiors needed light, flow, and modernization without sacrificing the traditional aesthetic. COUPAR Design selected a nuanced color palette, custom millwork, and curated furnishings.  Forest greens, dusty blues, and luminous whites frame collected books and art, as well as spaces designed for reading, cooking, entertaining, and quiet reflection, within a classic San Francisco setting rich in historic charm.
